This is a great time of year to get organized! As you put away your holiday decorations, take advantage of the holiday sales on handy stuff like big plastic organizers by companies like Rubbermaid. Organizing closets and garages is so much easier with tubs and bins that can be easily marked and stacked. . .or go the extra mile and build a system on the wall so you can store holiday goodies as well as out of season clothes and sporting equipment. Eastern NC has enjoyed some wild weather this last week or so, take advantage of some of the nice 60 degree weather and use those days to empty out storage sheds and garages without breaking a sweat, much more enjoyable now than in July! Perhaps with a free lunch and lots of soda or lemonade you can bribe a pal to help, returning the favor for them, ‘natch.
